EVENT DETAILS

The ACS Athens Swimathon - Laps of Awareness is a 24-hour swimming event designed to raise disability awareness and promote inclusivity within our school and community. Taking place from May 9 from 9.00 to May 10 16.00 participants will swim in relay-style shifts, ensuring maximum engagement throughout the event.

Unlike a non-stop marathon, the event will pause from 23:00 to 06:00, allowing participants and volunteers to rest. Swimming will resume in the morning and continue until the final laps at 16:00 on May 10.

Throughout the 24-hour period, we will host engaging activities, guest speakers, and interactive sessions to highlight the importance of disability awareness. The Swimathon is open to students, faculty, parents, alumni, and community members, who can register as individuals or teams.

All proceeds from the event will benefit local institutions supporting individuals with disabilities. Join us as we swim for a cause and make a lasting impact!
